Terms for guests
These terms explain using Some1 at a participating venue (café, restaurant, bar or club). Some1 is operated by Sintax Error Private Limited in India. Please read these terms with our Privacy and Refund policies.

Permanent account deletion
Guests can choose Delete your account below the QR menu. After open visits are closed, confirming DELETE removes the guest profile, saved food preferences, conversation memory, verified phone and personal dining history across Some1, then removes the guest sign-in identity. Necessary service/payment records are de-identified or restricted where retention is required. Deletion does not erase debts or cancel payments. Background cleanup and identity-provider outages can delay completion; support can review an unfinished request.
1. What Some1 does
Some1 supplies software for menus, table access, manual ordering, service requests and, where the venue enables it, an AI host. The venue identified on your menu supplies the food, drink and on-site service. Some1 does not prepare food, decide the venue's availability or replace its staff.
You can browse the available menu without using voice. Joining a table and placing orders can require sign-in, phone verification and venue approval. A venue may pause voice or run out of its allowance; manual menu ordering remains available while the venue's service is active.
2. Your account and permissions
Use accurate information and only access a table you are entitled to join. Keep your sign-in secure and tell us about suspected misuse. Do not impersonate another guest, bypass access controls, or use another person's payment credentials.
Account holders and purchasers must be at least 18 and legally able to contract. A minor should ask a parent, guardian or venue staff member to order on their behalf, without creating a Some1 account or sharing the minor's personal information. Some1 is not designed to profile children.
Guest location permission is not required. Microphone permission is only needed for voice. Optional memory and cross-venue personalisation have their own controls; accepting these terms does not enable them. Read Privacy for what a venue sees when you join its table.
3. Review, confirmation and fulfilment
If staff confirm an unpaid departure and establish your responsibility, you can submit a new self-service order at that venue, but the kitchen must accept it even when automatic acceptance is enabled. Your earlier unpaid balance and this visit’s amount are shown together; payments and waivers remain recorded against their original bills until resolved. This does not restrict other venues, mark you as responsible for every shared-table bill, or create an automatic platform ban. You may ask the cashier or Some1 through the contact page to review an incorrect or disputed record. Releasing a table does not settle its outstanding bill.
Check the venue, items, quantities, modifiers, notes and displayed total before confirming an order. An AI suggestion or spoken acknowledgement alone is not proof that an order has been placed. Look for the application's confirmation and order status; a sent order may still need venue acceptance.
Venues may exclude categories from the AI host while keeping them available in the manual menu. Saved context mentioning those categories or items is omitted from new AI context; this does not erase information already sent or words a guest speaks to a provider. Prices, taxes, availability, preparation times and fulfilment are the venue's responsibility. Contact its staff promptly if an order is wrong or if you need a change or cancellation. We pass requests and status information through the software; we cannot guarantee a venue can change food already being prepared.
Tell venue staff directly about allergies, dietary restrictions or other safety-critical requirements and obtain their confirmation. Menu information and AI replies are not a guarantee that a dish is allergen-free or suitable for you.
4. Bills and food payments
After an order is sent, cancellation or replacement requests await kitchen approval. The original items and bill stay unchanged until acceptance; acceptance applies the approved cancellation and replacement together. A decline leaves the original order in place and gives the venue’s reason. For served items or bills with recorded payments or adjustments, ask the cashier to review the change.
Food and drink charges belong to the venue, separately from the venue's Some1 subscription. Follow the venue's displayed payment instructions. A payment claim, entered reference or split-bill selection is not final settlement until the venue confirms it. Check the recipient and amount before paying.
At a shared table, your guest panel shows your own items and applicable payments. Ask the cashier to settle your items or the whole table. A table-wide payment without item allocations may require the cashier to confirm your remaining balance. Food refunds and fulfilment complaints should first go to that venue; our Refund policy explains how to report platform problems. Statutory consumer remedies remain available.
5. AI, acceptable use and content
The host is an AI system. It may misunderstand speech or produce incorrect suggestions; use the menu and staff assistance whenever needed. Service can be interrupted by device, network or provider failures. Do not rely on the host for medical, legal, financial or emergency advice.
Venues with voice access may offer Fluent, an optional multilingual AI host supplied by Sarvam, after a separate notice and affirmative agreement. Its account-specific API retention is not yet confirmed, as explained in Privacy. Declining Fluent leaves manual menu ordering available. Fluent speech still requires the existing on-screen order confirmation before submission; no quality, language accuracy or uninterrupted-service guarantee is added.
Do not upload unlawful content, harass staff or other users, attempt to extract private data, disrupt the service or infringe someone else's rights. You retain rights in your content and allow the processing reasonably needed to provide the requested service, as described in Privacy. We may restrict abusive access and investigate security incidents.
6. Problems, changes and applicable law
We are responsible for our software and our own obligations under applicable Indian law; the venue remains responsible for the products and service it supplies. Nothing here excludes rights, refunds or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including remedies for deficient service or unfair practices. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or accuracy of third-party content.
These terms are governed by Indian law. Contact the published support/grievance contact first so we can investigate; this does not prevent approaching a competent consumer forum, authority or court. Material changes will be identified with a new effective date and notified in the service where appropriate. A changed notice does not retroactively authorise a new use of your data or alter an already confirmed transaction.
